Up towards Maine

Posted by marc on May 15th, 2008

the 1st day i drove out of boston and into new hampshire. 1st night i stayed in a motel in hampton. the next day it was on and into maine. as i drove only small roads i passed a lot of small houses and at last 40% of them are for sale. crazy!

but the nice part is the nature – as they had a though winter spring is just started over here. grass and leaves – young and fresh green – sweet!!

Back in the USA

Posted by marc on May 15th, 2008

After not reaching Michelle i booked a rental a day before the flight. the trick is to book the cheapest (well here i did spend 2€ more for a 4 door car) and usually you get a much better car in the us.

So my 143 € got me this nice cruiser, 3.8 V6 engine, very nice stereo and a quit good ride. mind you – this is for a week, fully insured and with free milage!

Fucking change of Providers

Posted by marc on May 13th, 2008

1st i wanted to cut down on provider costs – so i decide to kill my 1und1.de provider and move to a cheaper one – one.com. i fill out all the shit and this and that. than i still own innerworld.de i try to do a KK over one.com at 1und1 – of course they say it is not possible and a day later it was gone. owned now by a law firm -strange eh?? now they want 3500 € for the domain?? fuck em! keep it! now i have a problem as i had more than 400 mb pictures for surfdog.de on inerworld.de. so i try to change hastenteufel.name quick to one.com to bring surfdog back again to the world. now what – it took the old provider over 2 weeks to get me the code to change the domain.
great finally today they did the change – now i sit in a motel in new hampshire and do not have the pictures with me to upload. took me quite some time to bring the blog back to work. lost only 2 posts – well lets move on!
