My mother and her husband did visit tonight. They came with the camper so we had dinner in the camper outside my place. Later we did watch a few pictures they took and i did show them a few of mine. Than they went off to bed.
I did check emails and a friend from Singapore wrote on facebook that she left her phone in the cab.
So i called her number and had the cab driver in Singapore on the line. He found the phone in the car. I took his number – as he claimed that the battery is almost dead – just in case. Than i wrote my friend that the guy has the phone and his number. But she had no more extra phone. She messaged her address and i did call the guy again.
Also i told her to call with her pc. Than she tried with skype (did not think to do that before) but no credit. In the meantime i directed the cab driver to her place. 2 friends of her from austira did follow that thread and got into it as well. They called it “little-good-night-comedy” which is was – sort of…
At last Lucia came back online again: “EPIC!!! I HAVE IT BACK! awesome taxi driver came back, even took me to 7/11 to buy some cigarettes and brought me back home. He’s almost as awesome as you Marc!!! “

Good news is that since os x you do not need adobe reader to read pdf on a mac. you even create pdf without one piece of software from adobe.
Makes my computer world so much better!
Still this big player has strange ideas how things should work. There is a web site called “Dear Adobe” and they have a Top 50 on their page. I like it – and you might find the one or other point on it that you wished for yourself.
I have a few domains with one of the biggest web host in the world – strato.de. so i find out that surfdog.de and swiss-chris.com does not work in china. surfcat does – which is also on strato. so i did complain of course. now here is the answer – in german:

Ich habe grade Ihre Seiten swiss-chris.com und surfdog.de überprüft und konnte ohne Einschränkungen von hier aus auf diese Zugreifn.
Die chinesische Regierung blockiert aber bestimmt Webseiten so dass diese aus China nicht zu erreichen sind. Bei Ihren Webseiten scheint mir so ein Fall vorzuliegen.
Bitte setzen Sie sich mit der chinesischen Regierung in Verbindung um eine Entfernung Ihrer Webseiten aus dem Filter zu erreichen.
for my non german speaking friends – apart from taking 5 (!!!!!!!!!) days to get back to me and not even write proper german: the idiot tells me tha he can reach the sites without a problem! (oh well he sits in germany…)
than he tells me that the chinese government does block certain sites and in my case it seems to be so! (well why do i complain??)
And now – it is really funny!!! he tells me to get in touch with the chinese government to tell them to get my sites out of their filter! now i will call them tomorrow and tell them! what the fuck is that? stupid bullshit. they do not filter my 2 domains of course. they filter a ip range and their might be some tibet whatsoever on the same ip range or some porn. why cant he not put me on another ip range or however it works. hrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggg
Sorry – that took quite some time again – i prepared most of the pix in Kezmarok and stitched everything together just now!

1st i wanted to cut down on provider costs – so i decide to kill my 1und1.de provider and move to a cheaper one – one.com. i fill out all the shit and this and that. than i still own innerworld.de i try to do a KK over one.com at 1und1 – of course they say it is not possible and a day later it was gone. owned now by a law firm -strange eh?? now they want 3500 € for the domain?? fuck em! keep it! now i have a problem as i had more than 400 mb pictures for surfdog.de on inerworld.de. so i try to change hastenteufel.name quick to one.com to bring surfdog back again to the world. now what – it took the old provider over 2 weeks to get me the code to change the domain.
great finally today they did the change – now i sit in a motel in new hampshire and do not have the pictures with me to upload. took me quite some time to bring the blog back to work. lost only 2 posts – well lets move on!
