Apart from a &#8220;Boutique Hotel&#8221; that someone had to put there it still feels like small-town Thailand. You! Help! Guess the tree was to heavy towards the side and would go into the khlong. So they cut off the branch. The others not. They put a fence so the cat can not go fishing.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hastenteufel.name\/pix\/2015\/asia\/142.jpg\" alt=\"Bangkok\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" \/><br \/>\nGuess that the city did put that as an open space for everybody. But the residents did create small private areas in front of their homes. Many have flowers and green. Everything well-kept and clean.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hastenteufel.name\/pix\/2015\/asia\/143.jpg\" alt=\"Bangkok\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" \/><br \/>\nMany small restaurants cater to hungry residents and visitors. There is a wet market as well, fish and meat market and a few little local coffee places.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hastenteufel.name\/pix\/2015\/asia\/144.jpg\" alt=\"Bangkok\" width=\"650\" height=\"496\" \/><br \/>\nSometimes there is a street separating the houses from the Khlong. But there is almost no traffic.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hastenteufel.name\/pix\/2015\/asia\/145.jpg\" alt=\"Bangkok\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" \/><br \/>\nA big bear guarding a few ducks.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hastenteufel.name\/pix\/2015\/asia\/146.jpg\" alt=\"Bangkok Khlong\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" \/><br \/>\nEvery day the boat comes and the guys try to clean the khlong.
