Looks like everybody know her here. So we had lots of fun every evening with her friends – eating somewhere and drinking some Whiskey with Soda and ice.
The first night when I was there was a temple festival at the outskirts of town. So we went there before dinner

The white string or Sai Sin is used in ceremonies such as prayers during Buddhist holidays, making of amulets, house blessings and some more. These strings transfer the benefits of the blessing directly down to the participant. Those strings that are connected to a Buddha statue hang down from above and people wrap them on the top of their head. The head is the holiest part of the body.

These white strings will then be cut into small pieces after the blessing ceremony and attached around the wrists of visitors for good luck.
I did not see another foreigner at the festival and I guess not many come – so one monk gave me one of the cotton string balls for good luck on the spot. Thank you Mr. Monk!!!

It was really full – and when we left more and more cars and bikes still pull in.
