Shanghai
Big big city but still some of the old structures visible. If you steep out of the apartment complex and turn left you are in modern Shanghai – turn right you are in the old Shanghai. Has this Bangkok feeling all over it!

I like to travel, and I like to snap pictures!
My mother got me an Eurorail ticket when I was 15, and together with two friends, we adventured into France. This was the beginning of a new addiction. I do like to take pictures, so one thing leads to another. On this site, I want to share some of my pictures and some of my trips with you!

On the way to the hotel from the funeral we found a place where they make that white spirit we had to drink over there. The Boss
I moved to Xing Ping and meet Michelle there again. Together with another girl, we climbed the mountain for sunset. I have no idea when I did sweat that much before! Mind you 39 degrees and very very humid air. The next morning, I had to get up at 5:30 to climb that stupid mountain…
Arrived late in the afternoon at Petras and Ludgers place. They have a fantastic view of the bund, the pearl tower and a big part of shanghai. will take a few pictures soon. Not only is my surfdog.de blocked here – now they did block facebook as well. hmmmm
SAS staff was very friendly – the flight very smooth – so far everything looks really good over here. I took a shuttle bus for 1.60€ to the world trade center and than a taxi for 1.1€ to the hotel. Try and beat that! Now – most surprising: blue sky and from tall buildings you…
Today Michelle and I went to another small town close to Yangshou. Visited the market and took a boat cross the river to hike back to the city. We had 38 degrees and it was quite humid. But the surroundings where worth the effort. No noise, no cars and almost no people – at last…
Did spend the day with last minute shopping and getting lost in the small old hutongs. Sometimes it is like in a little village far far from here and than it is back to modern Shanghai again. Ludger came back from Germany today and we will have dinner together before i have to go to…
