Back in Los Angeles – Short Update and a few Pictures

It’s been a long time but finally I’m back again. After more than 22 years – Los Angeles or LA as you might know it. Irene was so kind to open her home in Venice Beach for me the next 3 weeks. She has a flat at Marina del Ray. Pools, Hot Tubs and an open fire-place. What a place!
After the long flight (after a very short night, a missed alarm and a 95 US $ taxi ride to Newark) i was happy to arrive here. Michael did let me in – Irene is hiking for a few days – I had a few brews and 10 hours of sleep. Today me took the bike and did the Sunday thing. From Marina del Rey over Venice Beach to Muscle beach and back again. More exploring in the near future. I did notice – a few things did change and a few did not. Now – sorry Coney Island but this is better! Now – sorry LA – so far the girls in NYC are better! Lets see what else the city has in storage!

One more thing: Cars! In this 24 hours of LA i did see more cool cars than in New York the last 16 days! Not the only difference I guess :-)

You might know the guy from a few movies – i did see him over 22 years ago on the same beach! Now he does less music and more T-Shirt selling. And before he had roller skates – his new ride does look a bit cooler – but this is about the only thing that did change i think
