Day Trip to Coney Island

Blue sky – a few white clouds and nice temperatures – finally off to Coney Island! Hmm i really do regret that i never made it out here before – at last before they removed the Thunderbolt roller coaster. Well it is like all these things – there is one day when it is too late to come visit.
Walked down all the way to “Little Rusia by the Sea” a nice stretch of Russian shops and food places. Did find the Russian beer i used to drink in St. Petersburg – to bad one can not drink at the beach in the USA. Got some Georgian bread and salad to munch at the beach. Than it was back to the city again for more walking in Chinatown where my host and couch where.
