I like to travel, and I like to snap pictures!
My mother got me an Eurorail ticket when I was 15, and together with two friends, we adventured into France. This was the beginning of a new addiction. I do like to take pictures, so one thing leads to another. On this site, I want to share some of my pictures and some of my trips with you!
Now I am on the road for more than 8 months every year. Visiting old friends and making new friends while exploring this big blue ball.
I was still waiting – and so was he As the sun was going to leave this part of the world for a few hours i climbed up to the temple on the hill – and it was full of dogs. Good night Kalaw – only 2 more hours till the bus…I told the woman…
On the way to work It is not allowed to cut trees anymore – and did you see a lot left on the pictures?? so now the people build stone houses. Looks not so nice – but much better for the environment. Good thing that they have everything they need in front of the villages….
Thanks to Frank (he had to pay with his thai plastic) i have finally my flight to Myanmar! BKK – RNG 9th of December. RNG – BKK 5th of January. Anybody over there???
The best way to get to Inlay Lake from Kalaw is not the bus or the super slow train! It is walking down. You can choose how fast you want to go. It is possible to do it in two days but why do you want to do that??? Plan at last 3 days and…

One of my personal favorites on the lake is feeding the sea gulls. It is one of my favorite animal – nice build – form follows function, this bird has it all. I could do this every day – at Inlay at last :-)
