A few pictures from the trip to Nauders, Austria from last Week
Since the forecast was not tooooo good i opted only for the iPhone and did leave the big Canon back home. That was a try and i am kind of happy but if i really want to take pictures i would not start with the phone camera. As long as the sky is blue and there is enough light it does work quite well.
Did stop somewhere at the side of the road – and the Austrians did put a pair of shoes for me next to the street. Nice – only i have size 15 and i am not really sure about used shoes. Make it a few T-Shirts next time or something! XL but not to wide pls!
We had to get the key from the village and than we drove up next to the last ski lift station. From there it is only a bit more than 100 meters – difference in altitude that is. So up up with the beer and wine, sleeping bag and stuff. Than wood in the oven as the night will be cold. This is the sun – setting over Nauders.
One of the old huts that they put all over the mountains. Did store hay in them in the good old times. Most of them are empty now and the others are locked so i could not find out what they keep in them. Now i can not tell you – SORRY!
There is a bridge over troubled water! Thanks!
Hello Austrian! Take me to your leader!!!
“Follow us!” Weeyyy – Security is tight up here in the Alps!
“I am the boss – what do you want?” In the end we did invite them for tea the next day. We did not really expect them to come anyhow as it is not easy to describe from here to our place.
Not sure if Andreas Hofer would be happy if he knew that they put his face on a pack of cheese.
TNew snow cannon galore. Not sure if this is here because of global warming or to stretch the season…
