I am not 100% sure but it might be that Chicago has the greatest architecture of the big US cities. Hard to say but the river in the city and the bridges are part of the fun. I had a few good days again – cheers Chicago and i will see you again!
Today the boys took me to a shooting range close to Bass Lake. Great place and free – hmmm i think we do not have that at home. You can bring what you have – as long as it is not automatic. No problem – you can change the AK to single bullets after all….

The bus was brand new and still had that new car smell – very nice!! i had the 2 front seets on the right side so the best view. Megabus has many destinations all over the us and canada. if you book early enough you might get a good deal too!! Michelle picked me up…
yesterday was the 125th “birthday! of the brooklyn bridge. a free concert and a nice firework to go with it. tomorrow we leave for PA – some 5 hours away from new york city for a week.

Steve gave me his bike so now i am mobile again. for me the best way to discover a city is riding a bike. to bad that the sun is not out more over here.
Malcom x and Reinhold share not much but where both born on may 19th. so we celebrated a bit at Reinholds place. later we went to a thai vegetarian for some beer chang and good food! that was a nice night out in nyc again.
Following the US 1 up north for a few days i had to turn round finally. Away from the sea and into the mountains back towards new hampshire.
