Two Weeks in Spain 2017 – At the Olive Farm
After a relaxing week at Roberta’s place, I was off to the airport for my flight to Barcelona. The party at the Olive Farm. Julie and Kaveh invited a few more friends from all over the place and all the local friends they have. Took the train to the airport and checked my big bag at the counter.

We had to walk to the airplane! Do not remember the last time I did that!
Stay on the green – walk to the door
I was sitting at the front so the front door was for me
Looks like there is only one guy that looks that nobody walks off
Seat in the Ryanair plane to Barcelona – enough space – even for me!
Nothing special but this is my first Ryanair flight so I have to get used to the Yellow

A nice stewardess upgraded me to the emergency exit – for free. Thank you Ryanair

There is a horse at Barcelona airport and it is pretty fat!
Turns out it was not really in fashion. Good for me!
I had to wait a bit for Laureen and Daniel to pick me up. There was a lot of traffic as well so we arrived at the farm late at night.
The Olive Farm
Julie and Kaveh took over an Olive Farm a year ago. The farm was abandoned for a few years. The house destroyed. There is no electricity and no running water. They renovated the house, installed a water reservoir and solar panels. After that Kaveh started to clear the jungle and cut the Olive trees. The land is so big that he still does not know how many trees he has. The plan for 2018 is to clear the rest of the vegetation around the trees in the far south of the property.
The old farmhouse
Lots of old Olive trees and walls
The white house belongs to the property as well. Two Australians came to do some Workaway and decided to stay longer. They renovated the house and love it here.
Only a few trees are not Olive trees on the land
