Annapurna Trekking – the 1st two days
Time to get the harvesting done
The 1st night i did stay here – Sweaming Pool! Who can resist??
Not too nice – walking at the new road. Looks like in 2 years you do the round with the mountain bike…
…in 3 with the jeep!
Wait for the next landslide when the monsoon starts…
Round table with a view! The best place for dinner and breakfast!! Loved it!
Morning view from my table
And straight down from the same table
nice travelling with you….Rejoice
nice Marc…(and) the Maya hotel isn’t near pokhara,on the first 6 hours walking? I was there in pokhara and anapurna treking at 2002, and this place looks very familiary to me,looks same place i been, the name i don’t remember more, but the house, the garner, the colour,it looks a place i been before….well Marc have fun, enjoy every step rock, and not think about bag heavy (if full of beer can you will not protest)…i took with me more one kilo rocks on the way down, everest rocks…cheers, jose.
yo Marc_Man!
Been waiting with ‘bated breath’ to see your latest pixs!
Some great views + of course ‘unwanted roads’ being hewned off mountain sides & I guess lovely old tress being felled to make way for ‘progress’!
oh! still love the ‘mis-spellings’ like Sweaming Pool’ like those @ Pai in mid-80s, India also same times and also VN 1990-trips – always love taking pixs. of ‘mis-spelt’ signboards!
Hope to see more soon!
Take it easy now ..will write you in awhile!
ciao – GABE_Man

I had exactly the same feeling – this looks so familiar, although there are so many places with great views and coloured guesthouses with round tables…not with a Sweaming Pool though ; ) Great pics, Marc! Enjoy the lake!
