A few Days in Poland – Lodz Countryside and Wrocław
The weekend house of Michal’s parents. Build out of wood far away from Lodz center. It is quite and when you sit here you have the feeling you are very far away from it all.
While getting supplies I found a little Hello from Thailand in the supermarket
Meet Iga – sister of Michal and girl friend of Michal – how convenient!
Forest a few minutes from the house
Trees in the garden next to the gate.
Even the longest Saturday afternoon ends and we got back to Sieradz since the Michal’s wanted to show me Wrocław on Sunday. When the food was served I was a bit puzzled. That is it? Nope – there was some soup later that was served in an extra container.
At last the beer was like it should be – cold and good.
That evening we got some beers and chilled at Michals place. My bed for the rest of the trip.
Trip to Wrocław
Sunday morning Michal and Iga picked us up and we drove to Wrocław
Wrocław is now the fourth-largest city in Poland. It has been part of the Kingdom of Poland, Bohemia, Hungary, the Austrian Empire, Prussia, and Germany. It became part of Poland in 1945 after the old border was moved to the west into former Germany.
In the back you see the Wrocław Cathedral
