Summer Trip 2015 – Part 3 – Vienna
Poor hungry beast – bites stone now for the rest of time.
Human and cow sculls – interesting combination. I wonder why they do not put a horse up there – why the cow?
And that is the back – or the front of it all – depends from where you come. And since we only had a few hours this time i can not show you more of that really nice place! But i have some more pictures in this old blog post!
The Austrian Parliament Building with the Pallas Athene Fountain in the front.
Athena in armor with Nike in her right hand.
The four figures underneath Athena are representations of the four most important rivers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire: Danube, Inn, the Elbe and Vltava rivers. The female statues above represent the legislative and executive powers of the state.
And for the rest of the day we walked like that – heads up – looking up!
Some say this is the first prototype of Tic-Tac-Toe! Some say it is the drawing of yet another church in Vienna.
There you go – Vienna gain on top of a fountain!
