I like to travel, and I like to snap pictures!
My mother got me an Eurorail ticket when I was 15, and together with two friends, we adventured into France. This was the beginning of a new addiction. I do like to take pictures, so one thing leads to another. On this site, I want to share some of my pictures and some of my trips with you!
Now I am on the road for more than 8 months every year. Visiting old friends and making new friends while exploring this big blue ball.
Time to get the harvesting done The 1st night i did stay here – Sweaming Pool! Who can resist?? Not too nice – walking at the new road. Looks like in 2 years you do the round with the mountain bike… …in 3 with the jeep! Wait for the next landslide when the monsoon starts……
There are a few places where the big birds roam. Of course they fly in from nowhere – and you have the camera somewhere. So out with the camera and on with the zoom lens. Great – now they are so far away that after 10 minutes you remove the zoom and get the 17-50…
After a few days in Kathmandu we took the Bus towards Langtang National Park 1st stop up in the mountains Hmmmm snow-capped mountains Trekking permit control. We getting closer – only a few more kilometre till we reach the park. We went to a small hotel and where happy to escape the “Bus from Hell”….
As the days get shorter and the nights get colder people here in the Langtang National Park prepare for winter. That means the harvest has to be brought in and prepared for storage. Yak dung gets dried in the sun for cooking fires as well as heating. It is nice to watch the locals work…
The days get longer from today on – well lets see – I should get my Indian visa in a few hours so looks like moving to Buddha’s birthplace tomorrow. And than India here I am again. From there on even my days will be WARMER!! That is what counts. Lunar Eclipse + Winter Solstice…
Saturday Night Fever? Nah! I dunno but was sooo tired last night that i decided for Momos at Hungry Feel – where i have breakfast every day. 50 Npr for Veg Momos and 60 for Potato Cheese – and the taste is delicius. So for 1.20 € you get 20 Momos worth to wait a…

If there are any other people that you see, ask them to take the photo. Or, some cameras have the timer. Or, simply hold out the camera at arms length, and then make that award-winning photo. I’m truly impressed, sir.
