From Buôn Ma Thuột to Đăk Hà

The next day on the way up north. Off to Đăk Hà a few more kilometres than the last few days. It was hot and dry – OK as long as you are driving. Lots of traffic in Buôn Ma Thuột – no clue where they all go. After a while it was less and less traffic. I look forward to the North of Vietnam. The few days with almost no traffic and a lot of green!

The Duy Phuong Hotel in Đăk Hà

A few minutes later I got to my hotel for tonight: The Duy Phuong Hotel in Đăk Hà. On booking they say that they are in Kon Tum but this is a bit further up north. I had a really big room for 10 US$.

If you look for a place to rest after a long day on the road the Duy Phuong Hotel is the place for you. The town itself is not as busy as Kon Tum. When I was there they has a market on the other side of the hotel. Fresh fruits and vegetables if you like.
The room was very big with a double bed, writing desk with chair, two armchairs, a little desk between them, TV, fan, AC, fridge, cloth rack and a cabinet. Big bathroom and a balcony. The room was very clean – so was the bathroom. The shower hot and the WiFi worked quite good. They have a café downstairs in the morning as well and bike parking under a roof. If you are lazy – they even have an elevator!
I will be back!
