Happy New Year of the Dragon

Lapilu

Woke up early and do the computer thing in the bungalow. There is fireworks from all the mountains around since more than 2 hours now – the dragon is on its way!
Will drive with Terry to a remote hill tribe village far up in the mountains. Lapilu is a litte Lisu village on the mountain on the right of the picture, has a school and a Thai army post. I am really looking forward to the next 2 days out there.
