I like to travel, and I like to snap pictures!
My mother got me an Eurorail ticket when I was 15, and together with two friends, we adventured into France. This was the beginning of a new addiction. I do like to take pictures, so one thing leads to another. On this site, I want to share some of my pictures and some of my trips with you!
Now I am on the road for more than 8 months every year. Visiting old friends and making new friends while exploring this big blue ball.

After a few days in Kasol i did meet Lari Fari, Kait and George in the morning and we went to Brama Mama House in Kalga together. Kalga is one of the last villages in the Parvati Valley if you go upstream on the right of the river. Up on the mountain – no street…
Apart from a lot of shopping places and the lake in the middle there is really not a lot in Pushkar. I did meet a few guys from the trip here again. Looks like all the tourists go to all the same places.
Right now the Desert Festival is held over here. Folk dances in the evening and Mr. Dessert and Tug of War competitions and much more are to see. The Fort of Jaisalmer is really something to see. Great that i did read about the festival on the CS India group and came up north. At…
Finally i had a few minutes to prepare a few pictures from Bodh Gaya. After Lumbini – and the detour to Varanasi – i was logical to visit Bodh Gaya. A Disney-world for the believer. With the temple and sapling of the original tree under which Buddha found enlightenment.
The Chokhang Vihara Gompa is one of the most interesting buildings in down town Leh. Stepping through the gate into the large courtyard is almost like stepping into another city. It is quieter and peaceful here as outside on the busy Main Bazaar. Since we where there when there was big construction on the street…
