I like to travel, and I like to snap pictures!
My mother got me an Eurorail ticket when I was 15, and together with two friends, we adventured into France. This was the beginning of a new addiction. I do like to take pictures, so one thing leads to another. On this site, I want to share some of my pictures and some of my trips with you!
Now I am on the road for more than 8 months every year. Visiting old friends and making new friends while exploring this big blue ball.

Did a long walk along the “old neighborhood” Some things never change – others are long gone and lots of new buildings all over. The Shell station next to the police station on top of Khao San Rd. is closed! Lets see what they build over there. All in all new bars and hotels all…
Did take the night train down from Bangkok to Sunkai Kolok last night. In our car the aircon was broken. So i did spend most of the time in the back of the train with two guys from the US. We did open the 3 doors so we had a lot of wind to cool…
After breakfast with happy Chris i went with the bus to Nakhon Sawan. Nice ride and i saw a lot – usually i do this ride overnight. With the help of a tuk tuk driver a hotel was found in no time. Than it was time to go downtown. Boy everything did change a lot….
The next day it was off to Soppong or Sappong. The Canadians and the Greeks with their rented bikes and me with Mikes Honda Sonic. We took the road leading to Mea Hong Son and after a few kilometers there is almost no more traffic. Soppong is about half way between Pai and Mae Hong…
How to get from Thailand to Don Det or Don Khong in Laos if you do not want to take a tourist bus all the way from Khao San Road or you are somewhere else in Thailand and do not want to go to Bangkok before heading to Laos. I did meet so many travelers…
