Street Food in the Old Quarter of Hội An
There are too many restaurants in Hoi An but for me Street Food in Vietnam is more interesting than a pumpkin soup with some Spanish starters. Why am I in Vietnam after all??
Did take a few pictures for you so you know what to expect if you ever stop here!
One woman can carry this street food restaurant by herself from her home to the place where she sells the food. Including chairs and tables – amazing!
A very small restaurant
They are like the Swiss – fly the flag everywhere. Here above the terrace of a restaurant
Dinner before – hopefully – customers arrive. The alternative to eating on the street.
You find all kind of food on the street – from a quick bite on the go to sit down places where you dine for half an hour or more.
That would be take away
As soon as you walk away from the river front you find most of the restaurants empty or not many guests
Another friendly face
She does not look to happy with her food
Poppey is in town for a short visit
Another small enterprise – black and white seems in fashion for the Corn Ladies.
Another small street restaurant
One of the less fancy indoor places
Most of the street food stalls did make some sales. A quick bite while walking works even in Hoi An
Small Ice Cream factory
Almost sold out
Nobody leaves the bike out on the street in the night
The Cola Wars? – Never heard of this!
The metal shop on the way home
