The fastest Scooter so far
Walking down one street in Chiang Mai i passed a bike shop. The white scooter is really cool – not sure if it does well on the way to Pai. Would love to have the green and black one to do it :-)

I like to travel, and I like to snap pictures!
My mother got me an Eurorail ticket when I was 15, and together with two friends, we adventured into France. This was the beginning of a new addiction. I do like to take pictures, so one thing leads to another. On this site, I want to share some of my pictures and some of my trips with you!
Now I am on the road for more than 8 months every year. Visiting old friends and making new friends while exploring this big blue ball.
Will be in Asia from November 22nd till February 1st! This will be the shortest winter trip in decades but i want to help a friend at a trade fair in Nürnberg. The plan is to go up slow from bkk towards Chiang Mai for a few medical exams and stuff – up to pai…

12 more days to go – time for a visa! Everything did look nice in the sky today so i took the bike and as i stepped out – rain. Only a bit so i went back in and changed into waterproof modus. Than back on the bike – sure enough the rain did stop….
What better day to visit Buddha’s birthplace in Lumbini as the birthday of Jesus Christ? I think that does fit well. After a 10-hour trip in a taxi, a bus with a bus driver from hell, another bus, rickshaws, and finally a very small bus I did get to Lumbini at 6 in the evening….

The next day it was off to Soppong or Sappong. The Canadians and the Greeks with their rented bikes and me with Mikes Honda Sonic. We took the road leading to Mea Hong Son and after a few kilometers there is almost no more traffic. Soppong is about half way between Pai and Mae Hong…
