A few days in Poland – 1st Stop in Łódź
Did meet Michal at my last trip to India. He is from Siradz in Poland. Told him I visit and so I did!
The ride – had a seat upstairs with nice view and despite an almost full bus 2 seats for me the whole trip! Great!
Morning in Turawa close to Opole. Did even manage to sleep for a few hours. In Opole all the eurolines stop and the passengers get into other busses towards their final destination. Since we went to Sieradz our bus was the smallest. Michal did pick me up in a nice 5er Beamer with his friend Michal and we drove to Lodz. I was able to sleep a few hours and in the afternoon we went downtown.
They took me to a place called Manufaktura. Now it is an arts centre, shopping mall, and leisure complex. The biggest building is an old spinning mill that was built in 1877. Designed by the famous architect Hilary Majewski in 1872. Got some food and a beer here.
The house of Izrael Poznanski – he owned the spinning mill

A short tour of Lodz – some street art
Liberty Square or Plac Wolnisci as they call it here with the Parafia Zeslania Ducha Swietego in the back.

Same corner on the opposite site. There was a time when people actually where thinking about the buildings and how each one affects the other ones and how a street looks. And how the city will look etc. etc.

If you do not find a coffee here you will not find one nowhere!
Went to a bar with craft beers. Went to the local beer shop and did meet up in the student apartment for a few beer and a bottle of Jack.
Healthy breakfast?
My room for that night
Clever invention that I did see many times but never took a picture. There you go – the dishes will dry alone – saves you work so you have more time to play!
