Back from Tilicho Lake towards the Pass

Landscape changes a lot at the treck - this one is quite interesting. On the left you can see the 2 Frenchies - gives you and idea about proportions. Mr. Yak in autumn colours - quite trendy for up here! Still a bit of moon to see. Some houses had still locks on the doors. To Tilicho Lake – Side Trip on the Annapurna Trek

Tilicho lake is one of the highest lakes in the world. It is 4,949 m or 4919 m high in the Annapurna range of the Himalayas in the Manang district of Nepal. You have to cover more than 1100 meters up to get to the lake from Tilicho Base camp. Did start before 6 in the morning. It was quite cold and still dark.
