I like to travel, and I like to snap pictures!
My mother got me an Eurorail ticket when I was 15, and together with two friends, we adventured into France. This was the beginning of a new addiction. I do like to take pictures, so one thing leads to another. On this site, I want to share some of my pictures and some of my trips with you!
Now I am on the road for more than 8 months every year. Visiting old friends and making new friends while exploring this big blue ball.
There are loads of “tourist” workshops on the lake – selling products that where made in the shop and elsewhere on the lake. at last most of them?? When you go with the boat you hear the weaving machines all over in the villages so i guess that a lot of the stuff they sell…
back in chiang mai to get Iveta to the bus back to bkk and now i wait for my hernia operation on the 22nd in the morning. hope that i can make it back to pai on the 23rd in the evening. Did meet with Eli and Ivan again – like every year :-)

Closer to Pai is a little Lisu village. The Lisu here have way more money than the Lisu at the mountains. You can see it if you look at the dresses. Apart from Jenna and me there where no tourists. And it is so close to Pai…. The flute is the same as in Lapilu…
The farmers in the north start to burn the fields and mountains every year a bit earlier. And I do not like to sit in the smoke all day and night. The particles are super small and go really deep into your lungs. And with plenty of places to choose it is easy to avoid….
