After a few lazy days in Athens, it was time to hit the road. The car is old and the seats really shitty. There was no music only the radio – and no way to connect the iPhone. And even if – Mitsos has one of the worst tastes in music there is. So that part of the trip was horrible. The good part of the trip: Landscape – lots of it out there and we had blue sky for almost all the trip! On top of that, it was off-season so no tourists and since we took the small back roads not a lot of traffic. Great!
Close to Tanagra
Close to Thiva
Somewhere after Xyniada
Close to Makryrrachi
Not a lot of traffic outside of Xyniada

Monument in Trikala town for those who fought at hill 731
Italy declared war to Greece after its denial to let Italian troops pass the land. One of the greatest battles was from 9th to the 26th of March 1941 and it was for the “Hill 731” located 20 Kilometres north of Kleisoura at Tepeleni Albania.
Waiting for the Italians to charge
Back on the road again. Follow the sun he said!
More cotton fields
The usual procedure – small vehicles bring the harvest to the big trucks
And with the big truck it goes to the factories
Close to Kallifono
From time to time a cotton truck slows down traffic. But most of the time there is no traffic.
Mitsos never stops eating
The sun is low
And casts a nice shadow over the fields
More nice clouds before Sellanoi
