Banaue the small Village in the North of the Philippines

The next day it was time to explore the village. I went up to the museum where you have to find the man with the key to open the museum for you. The entrance fee is very moderate for us – something like a small beer in the restaurant. Which is a lot of money here – hmmm. There is not too much to see – tools, cloths, wood carvings and a lot of information about the last days of the Japanese occupation at the end of the second world war. If you have the time – you should take a look.
The museum is up the road from the tourist office towards the Banaue View Point and Hapao Rice Terraces. Here is a link to a map of the region.
