I like to travel, and I like to snap pictures!
My mother got me an Eurorail ticket when I was 15, and together with two friends, we adventured into France. This was the beginning of a new addiction. I do like to take pictures, so one thing leads to another. On this site, I want to share some of my pictures and some of my trips with you!
Now I am on the road for more than 8 months every year. Visiting old friends and making new friends while exploring this big blue ball.
The days go fast when you do nothing and when you do something they go even faster. People arrive, become new friends and leave. Old friend come and go. The Pailand thing. It is still fresh in the night and the cats try to get some of the heat from last nights fire Bianca leaves…
latest word is: the cops in Pai are pulling people off of the street for random piss tests. Weird, the police chief changed, and apparently they want Pai as a premiere weekend resort for Thai people, so out with the rif-raf, they want all of the hippie types gone, permanently. They want the image of…
Still people come up to Pai – i like it :-) Laureen is back in town – should be a nice Open Mike at the Edible Jazz tonight. Scott, Moritz, Christian and Miriam came to town. And a lot left – the season ends soon. I have my visa till the 24th of March and…
For all my non Facebook friends – again go here
Since last night i am in Singapore. Had an late afternoon flight with Air Asia from Bangkok. Than an incredible cheap subway ride – 1.30€!!!! – from the airport to Delphines house and a few Pastis over there. Today i walked down the river to Marina Bay to see what has changed since last year….
Terry took me to a party at the Pai Beverly Hills a few days ago. His friend did put a one of a kind estate in the street. Not sure but i think that is the only home like that in all of Pai. Who would ever think that such places will be here in…

So where was that tree?
Hi Carl!
how did you find this blog??
umm now how to explain this – it is close to the river where the little park is. if you come from khao sarn you go up where the police station is und cross the temple and than you go out to the street where you would take a boat. you turn right and walk towards the park where the fort is. and there you take another right and walk 100 meters. it is opposit the gas station.
does that help??
greets!!
