A few quite days in Movelier Switzerland
Movelier is a small village in the district of Delémont in the canton of Jura in Switzerland. It is very close to the French border and far from everything. Mostly forest and fields the surroundings are very very green. A bit over 300 people call it home so there is not much going on the whole day.
A few farmers cruise with tractors to the fields and back to the farm collecting hay for the winter season or they plow their fields. Stork and falcons are soaring high up – butterflies close to the ground. A place where you go and get lost with a book and a nice glass of red.
Coming back from walking the dog. This is most of Movelier and the house is behind the trees that you can see on the left of the street.
Lora the lazy cat does it Mexican style and chills in the warm morning sun
Rocco gets lost in the flowers
I have to work for food. Since this is Switzerland after all you have to keep the yard nice and clean. Permaculture in the foreground of the picture
After all that work – a cold Swiss brew
